Every year on 29th of June The Universal Catholic Church celebrates the feast of St. Peter and St. Paul, the two pillars of Christianity. And, we the Syro Malankara Catholic diocese of Marthandam also celebrate our diocesan Day together with the feast day of our beloved eparchial Bishop His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Vincent Mar Paulos. Adding beauty and colours to the doubled celebrations of the very particular day, the newly consecrated Bishop His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Yoohanon Mar Alexios, auxiliary Bishop of the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum has joined together with us and embellished the joyful moments with his humble presence. Our Patron Bishop Vincent Mar Paulos offered the Holy Mass together with the Diocesan Priests for the intentions of the entire diocese and an insightful homily was beautifully given by Mar Alexios in connection with the lives of St. Peter and St. Paul.
