In view of the growing pastoral needs and development of the Diocese of Roman Catholic Diocese of Marthandam, a special formation program for priests was organized from April 20, 4:00 PM to April 21, 4:00 PM. The session was animated by two experienced resource priests from outside the diocese, who facilitated meaningful discussions and reflections. His Excellency Vincent Mar Paulos, Bishop of Marthandam, was also present and actively participated in the gathering. Unlike conventional lectures, the program was conducted in a discussion-oriented format. Priests of the diocese openly shared the pastoral challenges they encounter in their ministry and collaboratively explored practical solutions. The interactive nature of the sessions encouraged honest dialogue and mutual learning. The gathering proved to be a significant step towards strengthening priestly fraternity and fostering deeper communion among the clergy of the diocese.
